HCTU

HCTU peptide coupling reagent (1-[Bis(dimethylamino)methylene]-1H-1,2,3-triazolo[4,5-b]pyridinium 3-oxide hexafluorophosphate) is an aminium coupling reagent designed for high-efficiency peptide synthesis. Analogous to HBTU, HCTU features a chlorine atom at the 6 position of the HOBt moiety, significantly improving reaction rates and enabling the synthesis of difficult couplings with greater ease.
